old light and wrinkles in time
If a photograph is a memory captured with light, I'd like to think of my recent body of work currently at 125 Live as 'old light' or maybe even 'wrinkles in time'. This series of abstract cyanotypes on fabric were made by exposing wrinkles, scrunches, and tie dye folds to UV light. I added a few found objects on top of the chemically treated fabric and used both indoor lamps and natural sunlight for the exposure. This series will be on display at 125 Live, Rochester's 18+ soc
