energy and life of the mark

I recently finished this cyanotype on cotton fabric, measuring approximately 20 x 30 inches. For the exposure, I used old window decorations as lenses along with bracelets, sea fans, plastic spice lids, string, ribbon, pop-can tabs, confetti, bread tabs, found metal, and small bits of nature. Even though the exposure process itself is very still, I love the tension and contrast that appear between that stillness and the movement and energy created by the marks made with the cyanotype chemicals.
